Training in UK includes - Queen charlottes and Chelsea at Hammersmith hospital, St Mary’s hospital, London, Royal Brompton hospital and children acute transport service. Has been consultant paediatrician since 2009 and currently works as consultant paediatrician and lead in accident and emergency at Northwick park hospital. Has experience in wide range of all paediatric subspecialties Has special interest in paediatric accident and emergency. Other interests include heart murmurs, headaches, constipation, eczema , allergy, abdominal pain, Asthma and wheezing, slow weight gain, all new born problems
Keen to teach medical students and paediatric trainees to prepare for DCH and MRCPCH exams and is and is a qualified MRCPCH examiner. Certified in simulation training and trains paediatric trainees and nurses in managing sick children using simulation scenarios. Has published articles in Archives of childhood published by Royal college of paediatrics and child health and also in primary care journal.
Believes in preventive paediatric care, holistic approach, minimal intervention for an early recognition of paediatric problems. Lives in Northwest London with wife and two daughters. Likes travelling, table tennis and swimming.
