Biography

As a Developmental-Behavioral Paediatrician, I am specialized in the evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of developmental disorders. This includes children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD), Learning Difficulties, Speech Delay, Behavioral Sleep Disorders, Toileting Difficulties, etc. I also have additional experience working with children with genetic syndromes like Fragile X, William's Syndrome, Down Syndrome and others. 

Previous Employment:

Prior to relocating to London, I worked as a consultant at Boston Children’s Hospital (a Harvard Medical School institution) in the USA from 2007-2012 where I was involved in trainee teaching and in clinical research on the causes and treatment of developmental disorders.

Volunteer Professional Activities:

I am committed to improving services for children with disabilities in underserved areas of the world. To this end, I have collaborated with the Queen Rania Foundation in Jordan to produce a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to offer additional information and support on Autism to caregivers and professionals.

I am also actively engaged with a variety of nongovernmental groups to provide teaching and training about the care of children with disabilities in areas of the world affected by conflict and humanitarian crises.
