Fathima is qualified as a doctor specialising in Paediatrics . Fathima has experience working in London and South Africa in paediatrics and also with premature and new born babies.
Fathima qualified as a doctor in Dublin, Ireland in 1997. She then worked in South Africa for two years completing her internship and a year of Paediatric training.
Fathima then returned to London and began her Paediatric training gaining a wide range of experience in London Hospitals. She has training in General Paediatrics (all children aged 0-16 years of age), Neonatalogy (the care of premature babies and babies till the age of 31 days), Haematology and Oncology (at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and University College Hospital), Developmental Paediatrics and Ambulatory Paediatrics/Emergency Paediatrics, rheumatology (bone and joint issues).
She is currently a Consultant in a busy teaching hospital in London, where she is the Clinical Lead for General Paediatrics and Safeguarding Children.
She is able to treat General Paediatric problems like bed wetting, constipation, urinary tract infections, vitamin D deficiency, fussy eating, eczema, asthma and female genitourinary problems and many more paediatric common complaints and concerns.
