The hospital pharmacy is staffed by a friendly team of highly skilled pharmacists and technicians, experienced in children’s healthcare.
Located on the ground floor of the hospital, close to the main reception, the pharmacy team is available to offer guidance and advice on your medication related matters including safe medicine use.
The pharmacy team work, in partnership with other healthcare professionals, to provide pharmaceutical services which are quality driven and safe to patients admitted into the hospital and outpatients. A range of over the counter products is available for sale to patients and visitors.
Patients will be expected to pay for their discharge medication as most medical insurers do not cover this as part of their policy. The Portland Hospital is unable to accept return of medication taken out of the hospital.
