Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology
What We Do:
Neuropsychologists are specialised in assessing a child’s behaviour, social interaction and their cognitive ability (their ability to reason, remember and relate information). The Neuropsychologists and Clinical Psychologists work alongside other members of the team to help define the reason for an emotional, behavioural or social problem. Whilst a lot of their work involves assessment they are also involved in establishing treatment programmes and monitoring progress.
What We Treat:
Our Psychology team assess and treat children with pain, anxiety, emotional, social or behavioural problems. This includes brain injury, autistic spectrum disorders, long standing pain and developmental delay.
